As an adjunct to conventional angiographic interventions, the Visions PV .035 digital IVUS catheter evaluates vascular morphology in blood vessels and provides cross-sectional imaging of these vessels. With a 90 cm length and 60 mm max imaging diameter for 0.035” guide wire interventional procedures, the device aids in peripheral artery disease and venous disease diagnosis and guides clinicians toward the correct therapy for the patient’s unique needs.

An additional benefit of IVUS is that you can potentially minimize the amount of radiation and contrast the patient is exposed to while making that diagnosis. We need to consider the increased radiation costs to the patient and medical team when evaluating diagnostic technologies. "

    Philips Core M2 IVUS system


    The Core M2 is an easy-to-use, small footprint, digital IVUS imaging system, designed for peripheral vascular procedures and operable directly from the sterile field.


    The Core M2 vascular system is used for the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of vascular morphology in the coronary arteries and vessels of the peripheral vasculature. It is also indicated as an adjunct to conventional angiographic procedures to provide an image of vessel lumen and wall structures.
